www.usbank.com/myoffer – Apply For USBank Credit Cards Online

An interesting credit card offer from US Bank came in the mail today – U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card. It’s main selling point seemed to be 5% cash back bonus on categories that change every quarter, up to $2,000 in net purchases per quarter. It directed me to visit www.usbank.com/myoffer to apply (which also probably serves as the starting point for many of their credit card offers).

This card seemed unique because instead of them choosing the bonus cash back categories for you, they let you choose your own. This is an interesting concept I have not seen much elsewhere. Read More

Citi.com/applydiamondpreferred – Apply For Citi Diamond Preferred Card

Today I received yet another credit card offer from Citi – Citi Diamond Preferred Card. This card’s hook is its long 0% for 21 months on purchases and balance transfers, then 11.99%-21.99% thereafter based on your creditworthiness. It instructed me to visit Citi.com/applydiamondpreferred to apply online.

This credit card is an excellent choice if you’re looking to transfer balances or are wanting to make some purchases without paying them off right away. Its long 0% introductory period is very attractive for that purpose. Read More

MyFreeCreditReport.com Review – Wow, what a Scam!

I’m always out patrolling so called free credit report and free credit score offers, and this morning I ran across a doozy – MyFreeCreditReport.com.

But this one states this right there on the landing page “$39.95 automatically charged after free trial”. So that means if you don’t cancel your free trial, you’re charged almost $40 just for one month of service! That’s outrageous compared to the competition! (By the way, here’s how to cancel FreeScoreOnline.com). Read More
