An interesting credit card offer from US Bank came in the mail today – U.S. Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card. It’s main selling point seemed to be 5% cash back bonus on categories that change every quarter, up to $2,000 in net purchases per quarter. It directed me to visit www.usbank.com/myoffer to apply (which also probably serves as the starting point for many of their credit card offers).
This card seemed unique because instead of them choosing the bonus cash back categories for you, they let you choose your own. This is an interesting concept I have not seen much elsewhere. Continue reading www.usbank.com/myoffer – Apply For USBank Credit Cards Online
Today I received yet another credit card offer from Citi – Citi Diamond Preferred Card. This card’s hook is its long 0% for 21 months on purchases and balance transfers, then 11.99%-21.99% thereafter based on your creditworthiness. It instructed me to visit Citi.com/applydiamondpreferred to apply online.
This credit card is an excellent choice if you’re looking to transfer balances or are wanting to make some purchases without paying them off right away. Its long 0% introductory period is very attractive for that purpose. Continue reading Citi.com/applydiamondpreferred – Apply For Citi Diamond Preferred Card
If I had a dime for every credit card offer I received in the mail.. well today I received an interesting one that I’m seriously considering applying for. It’s called the Citi® Double Cash Card. The advertisement directed me to www.citi.com/doublecashapplynow to apply.
It’s an interesting offer, it’s a 1% cash back rewards card, but that’s not the end of it. What makes it so interesting to me is that you will also receive 1% cash back on what you pay on your balance, so that’s basically double cash back, no restrictions, no rotating categories, no annual fees. My current credit card (Chase Freedom) I receive 1% cash back, but no cash back on what I pay on my balance, that’s what sets this card apart from the crowd. I receive so many of those so called “pre-approved” credit card offers in the mail, typically I just toss them, but when I got an invitation to apply for the Citi ThankYou Preferred Credit Card, I had to investigate further.
The invitation instructed me to direct my browser to Citi.com/applynowthankyoupreferred and enter my “invitation Code” to apply. But before I did that, I did a little research into what this card offers, and its pros and cons. Here’s an outline of what I discovered: Continue reading Citi.com/applynowthankyoupreferred – Apply for Citi ThankYou Preferred Card
Yesterday morning I received one of those “pre-approved” credit card offers from Citi, called Citi Simplicity. It gave me a specific URL to visit in order to accept the offer (really to apply for it) – Citi.com/applyforcitisimplicitynow (which is quite a long web address to remember, I guess that’s part of what made it memorable to me).
Although I don’t typically pay any attention to such offers, this one caught my eye. I investigated a little deeper into what this card has in store for new cardholders and also seasoned Citi Simplicity members alike.
